Green light for 8 new school buildings in Chania, Crete

Greece gave the green light Tuesday for the construction of 8 school buildings on the island of Crete through a public private partnership agreement at a cost of 40 million euros, a government official said.

A joint ministerial meeting including the finance and environment ministries decided that the tender process for the construction of the school buildings in the Chania area will be launched in coming weeks.

The total budget also includes the upgrading of a park in Chania.
