Qatar Airways will launch in March flights to Greece's second largest city, Thessaloniki, as part of global expansion plans.
The airline will operate four weekly flights to Thessaloniki commencing March 27, it said in a statement.
The new service between Doha and Thessaloniki will be operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft.
Qatar Airways currently operates three daily flights to Athens and provides more than 4,000 seats to the Greek capital each week. With the addition of Thessaloniki, this will increase to more than 5,000 seats per week.
