Fourth auction attempt for Athens Ledra hotel
The Athens Ledra hotel, a landmark in the Greek capital, will go under the hammer for the fourth time in mid March, reports a Greek website Monday.
Capital.gr said that expectations that a deal will be reached are much higher this time round as the bank leading the sale Alpha Bank has dropped its asking to some 36.5 million euros from 48 million euros previously.
The auction date is scheduled for March 15, the site added. Built in 1980, the 314 room hotel has been shut down since May last year.
