Wyndham hotels boost presence in Greece, Cyprus

Wyndham Hotel Group, that operates some 8,000 hotels worldwide, plans to boost its presence in Greece and the Balkan area, the company said Monday.

Wyndham said that it is broadening its cooperation with hotel management company Zeus International and that the two will develop a network of 20 hotels in the next ten years in Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria and Romania.

The two companies first started working together on Wydham's first investment in Greece, the Wyndham Grand Athens in Karaiskakis square, central Athens. Zeus International will also manage more of Wyndham's hotels along Athens' coastal area and in Loutraki, about one hour out of the capital.
