Tour operator Thomas Cook wants to launch more own brand hotels in Greece and Spain after the successful launch of its Casa Cook resort in Rhodes last year, according to its chief executive.
Group CEO Peter Fankhauser said that the company is launching a second hotel on the island of Kos this summer and that own brand hotels and resorts is a key part of the company's strategy.
“We opened our first Casa Cook in Rhodes – it was the hottest opening in the Mediterranean last summer – and it attracted for us a totally new segment of customers," he said.
“There are many more to come. We want to roll this brand out. The next one is in Kos and we would like more in Greece and Spain."
