Govt gives list of Chinese firms eyeing Greece-report
Greece's deputy economy minister Stergios Pitsiorlas said Thursday that a series of Chinese companies showed interest in investing in Greece, targetting sectors including tourism and real estate, in meetings held between Greek and Chinese officials earlier this week, reported state news agency ANA-MPA.
"Chinese groups are beginning to systematically assess investment opportunities offered by Greece," said Pitsiorlas.

Earlier this week, Greek prime minister Alexis Tsipras visited China where he met with
with Chinese President Xi Jinping, who said that the two countries need to expand their cooperation in energy, infrastructure, oceanic and telecommunications sectors.
