Job prospects in Greek real estate at 9 year high
Employment prospects in Greece's real estate sector are the best they have been in more than nine years, according to a recent survey prepared by Manpower recruitment agency.
The survey, which assessed third quarter employment prospects in Greece's labor market, found that one in four employers expects to up staff numbers and that possibilities in the job market improved from the second quarter of the year.
The survey also showed that the labor market's strongest prospects lie in three areas: finance, insurance and real estate.
Despite the the positive trend detected by Manpower, Greece's jobless rate remains at record highs and more than double levels seen in Europe. The country's unemployment rate eased to 21.7% in April, versus 23.6% a year earlier.
