The sale of the Xenia Hotel, that includes thermal springs and hydrotheray facilities, on the island of Kythnos was called void by Greece's privatisations agency.
On a land plot spreading more than 7,000 square meters, the property is located five kilometers from the the main town on Kythnos.
The hydrotherapy facility was built under the instructions of Queen Amalia between 1836- 1845. Within 1871- 1891 the facility was modified in accordance with the plans of German architect Ersnt Ziller. The last modifications and modifications to the building took place between 1964- 1970.
The building facilities include a 46 room hotel, a hydrotherapy facility of 14 baths and a hydro massage facility. The tender will be relaunched immediately, said the agency.
