3.3 mln buildings in Greece exposed to earthquake risk
A total of some 3.3 million buildings in Greece are subject to earthquake risks, according to a study put together by Global Earthquake Model.
The study, which aims at identifying the most seismic probe areas of the world, said that the total cost of replacing these buildings in Greece stands at 571 billion euros. The cost of replacing commercial property in Greece would amout to 123.2 billion euros and the another 100 billion euros for industrial real estate assets.
