Chinese real estate site sets up in Greece

Juwai IQI, a real estate technology group, has created IQI Greece, in partnership with Athens real estate agency, Globality.

The Kuala Lumpa-based company owns online property marketplaces in China and in Asia Pacific and is now present in 21 countries.

“So far in 2021, we have had tremendous growth despite Covid. We are growing in Europe and the surrounding areas where we now have offices in four additional countries, the UK, Portugal, Turkey and now Greece. This will help us to achieve our target of increasing global market share in both presence and real estate transactions,” said Juwai IQI Co-Founder and Group CEO Kashif Ansari.

Juwai IQI Co-Founder and Group Managing Director Daniel Ho said, "As part of our network, IQI Greece will benefit from our advanced technology platform. Among the new developments we are exploring is bringing real estate to the metaverse. What new technologies and business processes will we need to do that? That is what we are exploring now."

“IQI is at the forefront of technological innovation in the real estate industry. Through our platform, we enable and empower agents to become global entrepreneurs and go beyond real estate," he added.

Juwai IQI Group Co-Founder and Executive Chairman Georg Chmiel said:

"IQI Greece will be able to better serve its clients by taking advantage of our end-to-end marketing and sales solution. It incorporates our super-app Atlas, IQI Global agent network, and lead-generating online property marketplaces."

"Our technology platform integrates the entire network to ensure maximum buyer interest in every listing. When a property is listed with IQI Greece, agents in Athens can market locally and negotiate with local buyers. Meanwhile, our teams overseas can host webinars in multiple languages for overseas buyers. Investors in more than 20 countries can drop into an office to ask questions and sign contracts," he added.

Nikos Pratikakis, the Managing Director of Globality and new Country Manager of IQI Greece, said: "We are emerging from the pandemic, which makes the perfect pivot point to launch this new era for our team. IQI Greece launches with more than 30 expert agents and into a market that in the second quarter already surpassed the rate of growth of the same period a year ago. In Athens, apartment prices climbed by 6.4% in the second quarter."

"No luxury property marketing campaign in Greece today is complete without both local and international sales campaigns. As part of Juwai IQI, our team can reach local buyers and international buyers in more than 20 countries."
